I very much appreciate the upgrade to higher resolution images, however, in text depicted in the image, the text is not clear. Can you please zoom in, explain it if you don't mind. I would also love to run FTM 2019 on my rMBP. Would I be able to devote that machine to the tedious task of scanning vast amounts of negatives before imaging them onto film? Or would it be better to route them directly to an Epson scanner?
Hi Robert, the images are high definition images. You can zoom by holding ALT and clicking on the image. And yes, if you only scan film negatives but not the film positives, you can use FTM on that Mac and save them all to Epson as fast as your Mac can do it. They will be much smaller in filesize than scanned film positives so a basic Mac is probably plenty fast to do all this work.
Hey people, I have the same question as the full Windows version, I want to use the same driver on both my laptop and my iMac, just wondering if there is anything that you need to do to plug in the correct folder?
Hi Malte, don't need anything to transfer the tree. FTP is fine and I believe my Mac is compatible with FTM version 1024 if not, you will need to change the settings for version 1024 before importing...
Hello. I'm currently working on our family photos project including Black & White and Lomography. I'm looking for a way to automate the work of scanning and processing photos in batches. I found Ocropus software, unfortunately it is not a one click solution, I have to look through hundreds of photos to mark them (or I could do this manually). Is there any way to do this automatically? Thanks!
