If the Coast to Coast Media Center has been installed, new MP3 download links are added to the Coast to Coast Media Center interface under the Tool menu, and can be downloaded as either individual files or as individual MP3 podcasts. Also, the Coast to Coast Media Center icon will appear on the Desktop of each operating system, and podcasts are created and saved automatically. MP3 podcasts can be downloaded using the Coast to Coast Media Center icon or through iTunes (for Mac OS X) or by right-clicking an icon in Windows.
Since the Coast to Coast Media Center currently supports downloading and viewing of Coast to Coast TV, Coast to Coast Now, Coast to Coast AWH, Coast to Coast AM, Coast to Coast AWW, Coast to Coast AMU, and Coast to Coast AMX files, the organization and structure of Coast to Coast AM files is the same as the in-show MP3 download. The individual segment and image files are named in sequence, with a Series Name + season number + specific segment being downloaded. The Coast to Coast Media Center can "sync" its collections and playlists of files, so that when doing a search with that software, results will be in the same sequence as the on-air on-line broadcast.
For example, if we broadcast from the 3rd onwards of the first season of Coast to Coast AM, the C2C Media Center will display the program name as C2C Season 1 Ep 3 to Season 7 Ep 20. If we download this same period, the first segment of series will be shown with a name of C2C Season 1. The next segments will be named C2C Season 1 Ep 3, etc. While the Number portion will not be altered, the series name will be shifted to include the full series, but only if the number is a multiple of 4, since the Coast to Coast Media Center does not report on the Hours for the program.
The MP3 segment downloads are available for three years, though select audio clips remain available indefinitely. They can be downloaded through either individually through an operating system's file-download functions (e.g. via right-click in Windows) from links off each program page or downloaded as podcasts through iTunes or for Microsoft Windows users a proprietary download program (available for Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows XP, Mac OS X, and Windows Vista) called the Coast to Coast Media Center. (The last of these downloads at an apparently arbitrary time within one hour of internet connection following show availability the following day.) d2c66b5586
