I’ve been trying out different AI tools to speed up my creative workflow, mostly for concept sketches and quick references. It’s really fun, but sometimes I worry about whether I’m crossing a line without realizing it. For example, I want to make sure I’m using AI in a way that helps my art, not in a way that might raise ethical concerns. How do you all balance experimenting with AI and staying on the safe side?

That’s a really thoughtful question. I think the key is to treat AI like any other tool — great for brainstorming, testing ideas, and speeding up parts of the creative process, but not as a replacement for your own style or originality. For example, in design fields outside of pure art (like interiors or even home renovations), AI can help generate mood boards, layout concepts, or quick visualizations that spark new ideas, while the actual execution and creativity still come from the human designer.
It’s kind of like how a kitchen remodel in Cumming uses design software to help homeowners visualize layouts. The tech makes the process faster and easier, but the craftsmanship and creative decisions are still made by people. If you keep AI in that “supporting role” lane, you’re pretty safe ethically.
